Bodyweight accessories: parallel bars, pull-up bars and Push & Pull

Pull-ups, dips and push-ups are among the most effective exercises using your own body weight. The Sveltus Push & Pull bar is a doorframe device that lets you train pull-ups, push-ups, sit-ups and dips without drilling. The doorway pull-up bar is adjustable and quick to put up and take down, while the wall-mounted version is the permanent solution. With the Parallel Fitness Bars (72 cm, set of 2 made from steel) you can train dips, L-sits, push-ups and advanced bodyweight exercises.

Agility and athletics: ladders, hurdles and marker cones

You can train fast legs and clean footwork with the Sveltus agility ladder. It is 5 m long, has 10 adjustable rungs and comes with a bag. The hurdles are available in 15 cm (yellow) and 30 cm (blue) for jumping power and footwork, and the basic and pole set is a modular obstacle system made from lightweight plastic for coordination, mobility and strength exercises in individual, group or team training.

Order and safety in the home gym

Loose weight plates on the floor are a trip hazard. The METCON rack for weight plates and barbells brings fixed storage into your training, and the magnet clips secure the plates and can be attached magnetically to the rack. You can keep skipping ropes and bands tidy with the Sveltus wall bracket. You will find the matching weight benches and barbells in the categories.

Smart training: Airofit and HyGear Go

The Airofit breathing trainer Pro trains your inhalation and exhalation muscles with individually adjustable resistance and is linked to personalised programmes via the app. The HyGear Go is a smart resistance band system that records your movements using sensors and gives live feedback in the app. You will also find matching power bands and bands from HYGEAR.

Everyday accessories: bag, shaker, yoga

The prfrm. All-Day Duffle Bag is a 2-in-1 travel bag and backpack that suits the gym, business and travel. You will find more bags in Weight bags. With the Assault Fitness Shaker you can make lump-free shakes, and matching products are available in Nutrition. The Yoga Mat and other items in Yoga are designed for floor exercises and mobility.

Accessory training for beginners

You can build a complete workout with just a few accessories. Start with controlled repetitions and increase volume and difficulty gradually.

Week Sessions Content
1 to 22 per weekAgility ladder for 10 minutes, plus push-ups and dips on the parallel bars, 3 sets each
3 to 43 per weekPull-ups or negative repetitions, low hurdle jumps, ladder alternating with strengthening exercises
5 to 63 per weekCircuit of ladder, hurdle, parallel bars and pull-up, 3 to 4 rounds

The plan is an example. Adjust volume and difficulty to your level and schedule rest days.

Care and maintenance

  • Wipe down handles, bars and grips after training
  • Check doorway bars, wall brackets and screws regularly to make sure they are secure
  • Store ladders, bands and ropes dry and tidy
  • Check accessories for cracks and wear before use

Avoiding typical mistakes

  • Too heavy, too soon: Increase difficulty in small steps
  • Doorway bar fitted incorrectly: Check the frame and fixings before every workout
  • Accessories without a plan: Choose accessories to match your training goal
  • No warm-up: Always warm up before jumps and pull-ups
  • Clutter: Loose plates and ropes are trip hazards
